Luke Musselman, CSCS, is the Director of Training at Heartland Performance Training – HPT. He graduated from Carthage College in 2009 with a degree in Exercise Sport Science and a concentration in Business Management. Luke has since been certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. After graduation Luke began working with athletes of all sports including hockey, football, basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, track, lacrosse, figure skating, and dance. He started HPT in July of 2011 where he has worked with the AAA Chicago Young Americans, Loyola Ramblers, Chicago Bulldogs, Lane Tech Hockey, and multiple NCAA Division 1/2/3, USHL, OHL, and professional athletes. Along with his impressive history of training elite athletes, Luke played four years of Varsity football at Carthage College. He prides himself in understanding the human body, how it works, and the different ways of getting through to his athletes to bring out their highest potential. Luke always tells his athletes, “You will get out of your workout what you put into your workout.” HPT has been built with the athlete in mind. This gives Luke the ability to make the perfect individualized and periodized workout program that suits each and every specific athlete no matter what their genetic makeup, sport, or goal is.
