A flock of ducks has landed in Lincolnwood... 🩷🦆

July is Parks & Recreation Month, and we’re celebrating with a Village-Wide Duck Hunt! Starting today, ducks will be hidden in visible locations at Village parks, the Pool, the Community Center, the Summer Concert Series, Lincolnwood Fest, and other Parks & Recreation events. Ducks could be hiding anywhere, but each week we’ll share clues to help narrow your search by highlighting where many of the ducks are hiding.

Week 1 Clue: The hunt is on, and many of this week’s ducks are flocking to Lincolnwood’s coolest summer destination! While the Pool is home to a big part of this week’s flock, you’ll also find a few ducks hiding throughout our parks and recreation spaces. If you’re hoping to collect a duck, start where the splashing begins.

Every duck includes a laminated tag with redemption instructions. Bring your duck(s) to the Community Center during business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm, between July 8 and July 31, to claim your prize.

Swipe to view the rules and prizes. Happy hunting!

The basketball court at Kildare Park will be removed due to safety concerns. Over time, tree root growth has caused the court surface to heave, creating conditions that no longer meet safety standards.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete this important work and continue maintaining our parks for the community to enjoy.

For questions or concerns, please contact the Lincolnwood Parks and Recreation Department at 847-677-9740.
