At Litchfield Tang Soo Do, our mission is to bring the benefits of martial arts to people of all ages, by teaching valuable skills that foster a lifetime of personal growth. Through the traditional art of Korean Tang Soo Do, students improve their physical fitness, while developing character, discipline, self-control, respect, courtesy, perseverance and goodwill, in a safe and fun environment. WHAT. A. DAY. 🥋🏆
From a 6:00 AM setup before the sun came up to the final awards of the day, this tournament was powered by an incredible community of people who showed up, stepped up and gave it everything they had. 👊

To our Masters, instructors, students and families, thank you. You stuffed lunch bags, prepared medal packets, rolled out mats, handed out water, judged, kept score, volunteered behind the scenes, cheered from the sidelines and competed with heart.

This kind of event doesn’t happen by accident. It takes teamwork, commitment, long hours and a whole lot of people willing to do whatever needs to be done. And once again, our LTSD family delivered.
We are incredibly proud of every one of you. ❤️

A huge thank you to the more than 20 schools and organizations who joined us and supported this event. The level of talent, sportsmanship, respect and camaraderie on the floor was outstanding and exactly what martial arts competition should be about. 💯

And to our PKN family, thank you for helping us bring another top-notch PKN event to life. Your support, partnership and dedication helped make the entire day a success.

Big competition. Big energy. Big memories. 🎉❤️

But the biggest takeaway from today was the strength of this martial arts community. We are grateful. We are proud. And we can’t wait to do it again. ❤️🥋🏆

We will have our regular 4:30 Little Dragons and 5:00 Juniors classes today. There will be no sparring class tonight. Competition Team is still required to report to the school by 6:00 p.m. to help with tournament preparation. Thank you!
