ALUMNI - WHERE ARE THEY NOW: our dear JENNY SENFT DOMBROSKY❤️ Class of 2013

I am Jenny (Senft) Dombrosky, and I danced at LAD from 2003-2013. LAD has truly been a second home to me, somewhere that I can be myself and absolutely thrive! I learned so much at LAD, not just about the technique and artistry of dance, but about life, how to work hard, bringing joy to others.

This is why I continue to come back year after year, to watch and help with performances, experience master classes, and take adult classes. No matter where life takes me, this studio and these people will always be home.

I spend my days as a nuclear medicine technologist at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center. But most importantly, I am the proud mom to my 3 year old son, my heart warrior, Carson, who brings me such joy every single day!

Congratulations to Miss Lisa and the Lititz Academy of Dance on 25 incredible years!

TEACHERS SPOTLIGHT: Miss Kayla

“What I love most about teaching at LAD is watching students try something new, and then seeing the moment when it finally clicks! Watching their confidence grow as they learn and accomplish something they once weren’t sure they could do is so rewarding. I feel so lucky to be a part of their dance journey and watch them grow both as dancers and as individuals!”

Miss Kayla grew up dancing at Lititz Academy of Dance from age 3 to 18, and was a member of the Cojomotion Dance Company! Following graduation, she went on to dance with the nationally ranked, Divison 1 Saint Joseph’s University Dance Team. During her time at SJU, she competed annually at the Universal Dance Association’s College Dance Team National Championships, where they won 1st place in D1 Pom and 3rd place in D1 hiphop in 2023, as well as 3rd place in D1 Pom in 2025. Miss Kayla was the captain of the team for the ‘25-‘26 season! Throughout her time in college Miss Kayla specialized in Pom, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Pro Dance Team Style genres. Miss Kayla is very passionate about helping students realize their potential. She strives to create an encouraging classroom environment where students push past their limits, fearlessly try new things and grow!! Personally, Miss Kayla is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree, and works as a caseworker for Lancaster County!

TEACHER SPOTLIGHT: Miss Amelia

“I love working at LAD because I get to teach young girls about the very art that I’ve loved my whole life. I also now get to work with some of my former teachers and friends I’ve grown up dancing with! LAD has been my home for 20 years now, and I’m so glad to still be a part of the family!”

Amelia Risser began dancing at Lititz Academy of Dance in 2006 at age 5. Throughout the years, she studied each genre offered under her incredible teachers and discovered a true love for dance. She was a member of the Cojomotion Dance Company from 2013-2020, where she performed in the annual “A Season For Wishes” show for Make-A-Wish, along with many other performance opportunities on and off the stage. Through LAD, she attended master classes at the studio and Broadway Dance Center, as well as choreographed pieces for Cojomotion’s “A Chance to Dance” showcase.

After graduating from LAD in 2020, Amelia attended Slippery Rock University, where she studied various dance techniques under many amazing professors and participated in SRU Dance Theatre. She was a member of the National Honors Society of Dance Arts. In April 2024, she presented her Senior Capstone research at the Slippery Rock Research Symposium, focusing on the benefit of dance and movement in school settings. She graduated summa cm laude with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance in December 2024.

Amelia was a junior teacher and a substitute teacher at LAD over the last few years and is overjoyed to now teach her own classes! She hopes to implement and teach her students everything she’s learned from her teachers and professors. She hopes her love of dance and LAD is evident to her students!

ALUMNI - WHERE ARE THEY NOW: our dear Kathryn Passarelli, Class of 2022
“I am currently a senior Molecular Biology major with a Chemistry minor at Millersville University planning to graduate in the spring. I am also Company Captain for the dance club I attend called Expressions Dance. I am so thankful to have been a part of the LAD family. This studio has provided not only dance training, but life long skills. I love how dedicated the teachers are to making sure you get the proper dance training. Everyone is so supportive and welcoming. It really is the best place to dance!”

TEACHER SPOTLIGHT: Miss Angelina
3 years at LAD

“I could not be more grateful to be teaching our youngest dancers at LAD. It is the most special “job” to me teaching them to LOVE dance for the very first time. Where their love of dance first begins is so important and I am so proud to be that first stepping stone for them. I got to grow up dancing at the studio and I love watching them grow too.”

Miss Angelina began dancing right here at Lititz Academy of Dance when she was 5 years old. During her time dancing, she took Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, and Modern. She graduated from Warwick High School in 2019, and went to college for 2 years in California. She moved back home to Lititz and started teaching dance here with us in August of 2024. She has a passion for teaching some of our youngest dancers, and helping them find their love for dance at an early age. Angelina lives in Lititz with her husband Isaac, and their Mini-Bernedoodle, Tucker. Outside of the studio, she is a behavior support assistant at an elementary school, and is currently going back to college to become a teacher. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks with Tucker, spending time with her friends and family, and going out to eat.
