The Pack Wrestling Club

We had another great practice tonight. We're wrapping up the end of the Folkstyle season and getting ready to begin the freestyle and roman greco season. If you're looking for a fun affordable way for your kids to get in shape, make friends and greatly improve their confidence then come join us every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6-730 at the high school. Now is the perfect time for them to join and get in plenty of practice before any competitions.

Man, what a great practice today. We had a couple of the high school varsity wrestlers come in to help out which really motivated and inspired the kids. We also had several new members show up and get a taste of why this sport is so addicting. Big shoutout to Olbin for winning Practice Champ on his very first day, and to John for taking Junior Practice Champion. Awesome work, everyone and weather permitting we'll see all you at Monday's practice.

What a great training we had last night. Sophie earned Jr practice champ by her sheer tenacity. She really gave it her all and went 100% which was great to see. Jax won practice champ because he's awesome and tries to help his teammates as much as he tries to beat his teammates. All these kids are progressing at such a fast rate its awesome watching them develop. Great job to all of them and we look forward to seeing you on Thursday.

What a great turnout we had yesterday at the tournament! The Anguiano crew were up first, and Emmeline was throwing down on the mat with wrestlers 20 pounds heavier than her and absolutely held her own. We’re all super proud of her.
Laura came in on a whole new level compared to last weekend’s tournament—huge improvement and it showed. Jaden won his first match of the season and wrestled strong all the way through. Ava had her very first tournament and blew everyone away with how quickly she adapted and improved with every single match.
This was also the first tournament of the season for Zek, Marco, and Hadrian, and they all did great. Connor got his first taste of winning and brought home second place—awesome job!
All of these kids did amazing, and it’s incredible to see how much they’re improving in such a short time.
Big thank you to Coach Sommers for putting this all together, and to Coach V for teaching these kids, spending his weekends with them, and everything else he does to help them grow on and off the mat. We’re lucky to have coaches like you guys.

Is everyone else as excited as I am for tomorrow's tournament?? These kids have been working hard and putting in a lot of effort getting ready for it.

Had another great practice tonight. Last one before our next tournament. Who else is looking forward to going there and supporting the pack wrestling team?? I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Tuesday crew was rowdy tonight! Great sock wrestling tonight and of course practice and jr. Practice champs were crowned. A couple more weeks and we are going to be doing our first tournament! Come join the hunt!

Our JV Lobo wrestling team wrecked shop today at one of the toughest tournaments in north Texas moat of these kids are alumni from this club team and were multiple medal winners last year!!! Great job Lobos!!

JV worked their butts off today. Coach's voice is shot. But proud to say 10 JV wrestlers place top 4 out of 30. Time to rest and recover as we got Varsity on Friday.

Tuesday?! More like Bruise day…this is a group of tough customers here…lol We had a theme night so its only natural that the toughest of the toughest group is our Practice Ava aka “the Hammer” 😳

Mondays practice champ was Mr. Arango… because when you are the harddest working guy in the room people call you “Mr.”🤣😆 lets go! we are here for it!!
