For the first time ever, we have decided to theme our Mini Chief Camp 26-27. If this doesn’t make you want to sign up, we don’t know what will. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Get ready to go ‘Wild About Dance!’ 🐊🦒🐒🐆

This jungle-inspired camp will have our dancers moving and grooving to some of the most popular songs of the wild while letting their inner animal shine through fun dances, games, crafts, and activities!

⚠️ Registration closes THIS FRIDAY, June 12th at MIDNIGHT! ⚠️

This will be your last chance to sign up for camp. We are currently finalizing dance choreography, creating groups, planning activities, and placing our t-shirt order, so we need an exact count of all dancers attending.

‼️🏆This year the North Myrtle Beach Dance Team will be granting 2 golden tickets to 2 dancers who are eligible to try-out for our 27-28 team.🏆‼️

•The dancer MUST be a rising 8th grader for the 27-28 school year. Our team has decided we will no longer allow middle schoolers the option to try out, unless you are granted this ticket at camp.
•This ticket represents a dancer who we find very compatible with our team, responsible for their age, and at a specific level that will match our team of freshman to seniors in high school.
•This ticket will be chosen by the 4 captains of the NMBHS Dance Team. Coach will later approve their choice.
•Please note that you are NOT eligible unless you attend this camp.

Introducing your new 2026-2027 NMBHS Dance Team dancers! We are so proud of all dancers who had the courage and passion to try out for our team. We are so excited for this upcoming year with all of our new members, and those returning.

We encourage you all to never👏🏻stop👏🏻dancing👏🏻 This tryout year was a difficult one, while we had many talented students with only a handful of spots to fill.

Thank you to all who came and tried out. We are looking forward to a very tough and exciting football AND competition 2026-2027 season. 💙💛

📣 Attention Middle & High School Athletes (2026–2027)

There is a NEW system for submitting your sports physicals this year, and it’s important that all athletes follow these updated steps to be eligible to participate!

Here’s what you need to know 👇
✅ Step 1: A parent/guardian must create an Arbiter Registration account using the QR code or link provided
✅ Step 2: Select your student’s school on the registration page
✅ Step 3: Check your email and activate your account
✅ Step 4: Complete registration by uploading:
• Physical form
• Medical history
• Birth certificate
✅ Step 5: Wait for confirmation email once everything is submitted and approved

⚠️ Important Reminders:
• Middle school athletes must register for BOTH middle school AND high school
• Physicals are valid starting April 1, 2026 for the entire 2026–2027 school year
• Students MUST be registered and approved before participating

Camp will take place for three days straight starting at 8am and ending at noon. The last day will be wrapped up with our annual parent showcase beginning at noon. Camp location will be shared via email with parents once signed up for the camp. All payments through Venmo must be made prior to camp. Check and/or cash is acceptable to be dropped off with student on their first day of camp.

As many of you know and for those who do not know… Mrs Disano (Rogers) is no longer our head coach. She has handed her position off to our assistant coach, Madelynne Stevens. But here is the good news… Mrs Disano will also be attending Mini Chief Camp with all of you! She is looking forward to having more time to hang and dance with all of you, instead of being in charge. 🤭

We are so excited to announce our 4th upcoming season as the North Myrtle Beach High School Dance team.

You must have a valid 2026-2027 physical turned in online AND in-hand on the first day of tryouts. You can find copies of the dance team handbook with upcoming season information and the QR codes below. The tryout application and teacher recommendation must be filled out and turned in through Google Forms by Monday, April 6th.
