Your Best Downward Facing Dog
In this all-levels class, we will explore the major muscle groups that make the downward facing dog pose more accessible. Strengthening these muscles & making sure the pose is set up for success will lead you to achieve "rest" in this resting pose. We will then play with growing & strengthening the pose by adding creative movement, breath work & fun exercises. Downward facing dog is an essential pose that everyone can grow & strengthen!

Whitney is a 200 RYT who is originally from Amarillo, Texas. She fell in love with yoga while living in Austin, TX, then she planted roots in Little Rock 7 years ago. Her classes are rooted in making all movement accessible for every body & all levels. She always provides multiple creative options of accessing the poses in her classes & encourages her fellow yogis to always listen to their bodies in the moment. Whitney is creative at her core, spending her time painting, gardening & completing build projects with her husband. She enjoys working outside & walking her dogs. "I want people to come out of my class with a deeper awareness & connection to their own strength & beauty, both physically & spiritually."
