CLASS HIGHLIGHT - CROSS-TRAINING 💪

Cross-training for dancers is one of the most effective ways to prevent injury, improve stability, and gain more power and efficiency through movement. We are fortunate to offer three types of cross-training classes, for all levels: Pilates, Progressing Ballet Technique, and Somatic Movement! Learn more about them below ⬇️

🏋️‍♀️ Pilates - uses methods developed by Joseph Pilates for low-impact, controlled full-body movement, with emphasis on dynamic core stability and mind-body connection
🪩 Progressing Ballet Technique - founded by Marie Walton-Mahon, PBT is a body conditioning and strengthening program designed specifically for dancers, allowing them to develop strength, muscle memory, and body awareness PBT | Progressing Ballet Technique
🧘 Somatic Movement - combines elements from several mindful movement practices, leading to a series of gentle, conscious exercises in order to increase mobility and gain a deeper mind-body connection
