We hosted an exhibit at our store this past weekend featuring Minamoto classic reels. With the guidance of Heather Harpole Photography, the showcase really came alive.

Minamoto Classic Fly Reels are handmade, and the craftsmanship is exceptional. Mr. Minamoto divides his reels into three categories: Spey, River, and Stream. The River Series features a 3 1/4” frame, while the Stream Series is constructed with a 2 3/4” frame.

Fish On! Custom Rods is honored to be the US retailer for Minamoto Reels.

The reels are not posted on our website yet. Several have been spoken for and shipping out this week. If you are interested in the River and Stream Series we have several to choose from, and a few more on the way. This will be the last run for 2026.
