Hey guys, yall getting to enjoy this beautiful weather?? Why couldnt it be like this at our first 3?!?!? LOL Oh well it all happens for a reason.

Here is what we have.

THE AKA WILL GO ON!!!

Our prizes, races and points are still there.

What we feel is best for not only us but the karting family in our area and ones who will be attending our races is to push pause for a second.

With summer heat right around the corner, school summer break, and family vacations. We are moving our schedule to late summer/fall.

Calendar is in the works along with new sponsors. If we get one more sponsor and one more dollar it will be bigger than it was. Believe me, we WILL get more of both for you guys. At the end of the day you guys are why we're doing this.

THE SHOW WILL GO ON..

Unfortunately, due to the weekend’s weather conditions, we have been forced to cancel the event for Saturday May, 20 at Crooked Creek Speedway formerly known as Optimist Park. The forecast is not looking promising, we do not want to string you guys along all the way up until the day of the event again, and we will not force a race with questionable track conditions. The AKA was formed with a mission of providing excellent world class racing, and if that can’t be provided, we will not hold an event. Details will be announced regarding the future plans for the series. We apologize for this string of bad weather that was out of our control.

Stay tuned for updates on the page, the series will regroup and be back better with even more sponsors!

ONE WEEK FROM TODAY

The AKA will descend upon Crooked Creek Speedway, formerly known as Optimist Park.

Friday night will be practice, starting at 6:00. We recommend that you attend this preliminary event! This track will be larger than any other kart track in the state and provide excellent racing action. Be sure you come get your kart dialed in for the BIG track!

Saturday night we'll be racing all the AKA classes.

STOCK APPEARING DRIVERS: There will be ADDED GUARANTEED MONEY! $300 to win!!! $200 for second, $100 for third!!

All other payout classes will be racing for 80% payback!

Crooked Creek Speedway formerly known as Optimist Park is located in Little Rock , Arkansas, near I-30 Speedway. It is nearly 900 feet in length in the groove, banked, and super fast. You may need to buy bigger clutch drivers than you have!

We are having a controlled practice FRIDAY MAY 19TH at Crooked Creek previously known as Optimist Park.

This is an AKA Sanctioned practice. All rules on and off the track will be enforced.

Several immediate area hotels have stepped up with a discount for the out of town guys.

2 weeks until crooked creek!!

Due to continued overnight rain, we have been forced to cancel tonight's AKA Series race at Arkansas Speedway in Beebe. We are not going to try to get you guys to travel and come race just to be disappointed in the track surface once you arrive. Sorry guys, mother nature had other plans today.

The owners at Arkansas Speedway has confidence in the surface and facility. As everyone knows we have a chance of another shower tonight late.

AS OF NOW WE'RE RACING!!!!

Remember that 2 people will win a full set of new Maxxis tires that were provided by one of our sponsors, Goldspeed as well there will be all kinds of other stuff that will be given away to racers this weekend at Arkansas Kart Speedway in Beebe, Ar.

We have been getting a lot of messages regarding what will be checked on the karts after the race. The simple answer is, that the winner of the race will be fully legal.

We have the best tech man there is, and if you are cheating, we WILL find it. The winners of each class will be inspected for legality, and a cheater will not win the prize.

Leave your cheater engines that you can run at your local tracks at home, and bring your AKA legal stuff to the AKA events, or you will not be winning, plain and simple.
