This week our campers are going back to the basics. After learning how to start a fire and craft fishing poles, campers put those new skills to the test. They caught, cleaned, and cooked fresh fish!They also tapped into their creative side by crafting soap and dipping candles.

They’re ready for life on the frontier!🏕️✨

Applications are live for the Young Makers Market. https://4h.zsuite.org/external-event-registration/44859

The Young Makers Market is open to any youth entrepreneur between the ages of 5-18. There are retail booth and food truck spaces available.

Applications will be taken through March 2. Applications will be reviewed and selections will be announced late March/early April. Selections will be made based on products being sold. We don't want to oversaturate the market in an attempt for the market to be successful for everyone.

Items must be made/grown by the youth vendor. They may not sell items for their parents/guardians. Parents/guardians will be asked to take on a support role and not sell for the youth or interact with the customers. Our goal is for the youth to be able to learn/grow for the experience and share their experiences with the customers.

Please share with any youth that you know might be interested.
