Katie Johnson

“I’m excited to begin this new coaching opportunity and bring my lifelong passion for hockey to the next generation of players. I grew up in Colorado playing competitive hockey with the Vail Mountaineers and Team Colorado AAA, where I developed a strong foundation in skill development, teamwork, and dedication to the game. I later moved to Connecticut to continue my hockey career at The Taft School, competing at the prep school level and gaining valuable experience in a high-performance environment. Returning to Colorado for college, I attended the University of Denver and played on the women’s club hockey team. Most recently, I served as an assistant coach for the Castle Rock varsity girls high school team. I’m excited to help players grow both on and off the ice while creating a positive, competitive, and supportive team culture. “

Eleni Rannis

Coach Eleni Rannis is a USA Hockey Level 4 coach with experience at all ages, including the High School Varsity level. Most recently, she head coached with the Varsity Castle View Lady Sabercats, where she emphasized accountability, team culture, and competitive development. She is also a certified USA Hockey official, giving her a strong understanding of the game from both the coaching and officiating perspectives.

Originally from Southern California, Eleni grew up playing hockey and began her career at age nine with the Anaheim Lady Ducks. Her lifelong experience in the game and watching/learning from her father who has coached for 15+ years has shaped her passion for coaching and her commitment to developing players not only in skill, but also in confidence, character, and leadership.

Eleni is deeply committed to creating a positive, competitive environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

We are excited to bring Eleni to Krivo School of Hockey Elite Girls to continue our dedication to organically develop top talent at the state, regional, and national level.
