We are so proud to have been a part of the journey for two gold medal Olympians from the USA Women’s Hockey Team!

At Foothills we are especially proud that two of these gold medal Olympians called our Edge Ice Arena home on their road to PyeongChang! Nicole Hensley, goalie, skated with Colorado Select Girls Hockey Association while growing up in Lakewood, and Kendall Coyne, forward, trained at the Edge while living in the Denver area last summer.

We’re rooting hard for USA Women’s Hockey to win the gold! At Foothills, we support all of our athletes, but we are especially excited about two champions who called the Edge Ice Arena home on their road to PyeongChang. Nicole Hensley, our goalie, skated with Colorado Select Girls Hockey Association while growing up in Lakewood, and Kendall Coyne, our forward, trained at the Edge while living in the Denver area this summer. Like proud parents, we’ll be on the edges of our seats when the puck drops at 9:10 p.m. tonight for what is being referred to by ESPN as the “pinnacle” of women’s hockey as USA vs. Canada. The USA women are seeking first gold since Nagano in 1998.
