Trans BC Enduro Race Report by
Isaak Egge!
"6 days, 30 stages, 125 miles, 34,000' elevation gain. Every type of challenge you can throw into a race was there: steeps, loam, crazy drops, mud, rocks, creek crossings, hike-a-bike, tight trees, skree surfing, wood features, mach speed sections, snow...you name it. Physically and emotionally challenging in ways I could have never imagined. And the quality of riders was mind boggling, so much talent. An amazing experience I will never forget. I placed 11th in the 40+ masters class."

------- Race Recap from Ryan Slone -----
"The Bailey Hundito was my very first mountain bike race ever four years ago. I lined up and raced it again yesterday. It was an awesome race with black clouds and thunder in the far distant background adding some additional flair. The rain stayed away and I was able to sneak in the top 10 with a 9th place finish overall and a win in my category. Thanks for a great race and all of your hard work. A huge thanks to my co-worker and friend Chris Johnson for the support and driving back and forth between the start, the aid station, and then to the finish to help and myself. Thank you The Bikery at the Brewery for getting my bike ready to roll - you guys rock!

Dirty Kanza The World's Premier Gravel Race
Race Report from Victor Rodriguez!
DK200 - Race the Sun finisher! 200 miles of Kansas flint gravel grinding. This was the toughest day on a bike ever for me. 200 miles of heat, dusty conditions, and sharp gravel. I was feeling great until I ran out of water at mile 135 with 15 miles to go and 92 deg heat and high humidity. My pace slowed from about 16 mph to barely 10, and thought I was going to have to throw in the towel. I somehow brought the will to power through. Made it to water at mile 151, spent over 30 min rehydrating, and was able to get some food down. After nearly cracking, I saw Taylor Phinney at around mile 165 changing a tire. Even the pros have a bad day on this course! Taylor and TJ passed me at mile 180. After that I got my final wind and was able to cruise to the finish, pulling a few guys on the way until I hitched a ride on a freight train tandem for the last 5 miles. I placed 221 overall, and beat the sun back to Emporia. The entire weekend was amazing. The people on Emporia and surrounding towns were friendly and helpful. I made some new friends and am already considering going back next year! Thanks to my family and friends for all the support. Thanks to coach chad for the pain cave workouts to train for this gravel sufferfest.
Way to go Victor . We are super proud of you.
