The fellas got a chance to catch up at the rink before heading their separate ways for a weekend of games, and moments like this are exactly why this program matters to us.

We love seeing the connections built on our Selects team outlast the tour itself. That's what it's all about.

A few weeks ago we got to shout out Coach Woody for helping the Avs put together their second annual youth development camp.

That same camp just got some extra shine, Sports Illustrated wrote a full piece on it, and Coach Woody is featured with a quote in there.

2027 RMHS Selects European Tour applications are LIVE 🏒🇪🇺

We always put development first and our RMHS Selects European Tour is no different. Our skaters train with some of Europe's finest before puck drop at the Lions Cup, building chemistry and stealing tips from new coaching styles before they step onto the big stage. This is an adventure you and your athlete will be telling stories about long after the final buzzer.

Fresh off our U20 women's squad battling for a medal, we're stoked to roll out a U16 women's team to the Finland roster too.

Spots are open. This year we're not just chasing the medal round, we're chasing gold.

Next up in our season kickoff series, our fearless leader, Coach Smitty, is stepping up to share his top 3 tips.

🔍 Be detailed with everything you do. Don't just go through the motions. Pay attention to the small details in every drill, every repetition, and every shift. The little things add up to big improvements.

👂 Be coachable. Being coachable is one of the most important keys to improving every part of your game. Listen, apply what you're being taught, and be willing to make adjustments. The best players never stop learning.

🔁 Make your 2nd and 3rd reps better than your 1st. Don't simply repeat the same mistake or movement. After your first rep, think about what you can do differently or better. Challenge yourself to improve with every repetition.
