Emma has crossed the English Channel multiple times both as a soloist and as part of a team. She may, possibly, have done more English Channel relays than any other swimmer. She is also an experienced swimming coach and runs Dover Channel Training every weekend through the summer.

According to the Autism Society of Florida children with ASD are 160 times more likely to die from drowning compared to their neurotypical peers.

This staggering statistic highlights the urgent need for inclusive and adapted water safety programs. Tailoring swimming lessons to accommodate the unique challenges and abilities faced by those with ASD can create a safer, more inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy water activities.

By promoting awareness and taking action, we can significantly reduce these risks and ensure that water safety is accessible to all, regardless of their abilities.
