Last week, members of the YMCA of Metro Denver team joined hundreds of business and community leaders to celebrate the 2026 Colorado Titan 100 honorees.
The evening brought together an inspiring group of leaders whose innovation, vision, and commitment to making a difference are helping shape the future of Colorado. It was a memorable celebration of leadership, impact, and community.
We were honored to celebrate alongside our President & CEO, Breezy Bolden, and the incredible Titan 100 Class of 2026. Congratulations to all of this year's honorees on this well-deserved recognition and the positive impact you continue to make across our state.

Happy YMCA Founder’s Day! 🥳
182 years ago, a small group of young people in London sparked an
idea that would grow into a global movement - a place for belonging,
wellness, and community for all.
Today, the Y is still where people find connection, purpose, and the
chance to become their best selves.
From 1844 to 2026 (and beyond) there’s no place like this place.
We’re a family. A support system. A force for good.
Share how the Y has shaped your life. Tag us and share your Y story
to celebrate 182 years of community!

Yesterday, we welcomed community leaders, advocates, and supporters to our Women of the Y Spring Luncheon: Let Her Play. Watch Her Rise.
We were honored to hear from Tonya Haave, who shared her experiences as both an athlete and coach, and Sandria Bolden, who reflected on her time at the YMCA as a young girl and how being an athlete has shaped who she is today. Their stories highlighted the lasting impact that sports, mentorship, and supportive communities can have on girls throughout their lives.
Thank you to our Champion Sponsor, Niagara Bottling, for helping make this event possible and for supporting opportunities that empower girls to grow in confidence, leadership, and resilience.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped celebrate the power of investing in girls. Together, we are creating more opportunities for the next generation to play, grow, lead, and rise.

Water Smart Rule # 5: Don’t Hold Your Breath (literally)
Breath-holding contests? Yeah, let’s not.
They might seem like harmless fun, but breath-holding games in the
water can be seriously dangerous, even for strong swimmers.
🚫Holding your breath too long can lead to shallow water blackout, a
silent and sudden emergency that can happen without warning.
🏊♀️ At the Y, we teach that water safety isn’t just about swimming, it’s
about smart choices. So, skip the contests, and keep the fun safe for
everyone.
Our Summer Camp team has been hard at work all week preparing for an unforgettable season ahead! ☀️🎨🏃♀️
From safety training and team-building activities to learning new games, crafts and camp traditions, our staff is putting in the time and effort to make sure every camper has a safe, fun and memorable summer.
Camp officially begins Monday, and we can't wait to welcome hundreds of campers through our doors! As you visit our YMCAs and camp locations, please use extra caution in parking lots and around our facilities as children will be arriving, departing and enjoying summer activities throughout the day.
Here's to a summer filled with adventure, friendship and lifelong memories! 💙🌲
