This is Carolyn. She’s 78 years young, and today she touched the smith machine for the very first time in our strength class.. safely, intentionally, and with so much confidence.
We’ve been progressing her slowly and honoring her body every step of the way… and today was such a beautiful milestone.
When we keep moving, when we stay consistent, when we honor our abilities.. this is what aging can look like.

Progress isn’t about going 100% all the time.. it’s about learning to move through life’s curveballs and still showing up. (Aka: consistency) 💪
Matt came in with very limited shoulder movement and pain. Lifting heavier wasn’t even on the radar.. but we worked around his injuries, focused on safe movement, and slowly built strength. Today, his doctors are impressed. Even with tears in his shoulders, his muscles have grown stronger, and his range of motion has improved in his own way, safely.
Carla’s journey has been just as inspiring. She first came in with limited wrist mobility, and along the way, she injured her knee and later discovered arthritis. After a small procedure, she came back stronger than ever.. adapting, moving, and kicking butt within her limits. 🙌
The truth is, life happens like accidents, injuries, setbacks.. but that’s the beauty of this journey. We learn to adapt. We find new ways to move, to grow, to thrive.
At New Chapter, we meet you exactly where you are. Whatever your limitations, we’ll help you progress safely, confidently, and in your own way.

Meet Vicki 💪✨
She’s a retired exercise physiologist, a little firecracker, and always ready with a dad joke that makes everyone laugh.
At 69, she reminds us that age is just a number.. because when she’s doing inchworms with a BOSU under her feet, you forget completely how old she is.
