Fell a little short, but we're proud of you boys for the effort! See you at the State Tournament! (Thanks, Holly, for the photo!)

Bummer that Wednesday's World Series game was rained out. For those who haven't heard, the makeup game is set for 8 pm Tuesday at Metzler Park. For now, let's focus our attention on winning the Triple Crown Mountain Magic Tournament in Steamboat this weekend!

Today is the day! Let's go win the World Series!

Late night project! All the helmets are now ready and looking good. The boys were crushing in them during Thursday night's practice!

Sunday marks our 12th practice of the preseason so far. Boys are working hard and getting prepared for the season! We're seeing progress! Less than two months to go till our first games, so we have to keep improving every day. Go Bruins!

Team...it was a good run this weekend. The boys really bounced back after a rough loss Saturday evening. The Trailblazers ended up winning it all, and we had them on the ropes. Needed just one more defensive play or one more timely hit. We were SO CLOSE to making the championship game. The coaches are proud of the team and the way they competed. It was a fun tournament.

Mid-season update: Team...we hit a bit of a rough patch over the past couple weeks, but pulled out an important win in league play Tuesday night. Thanks to great pitching, solid defense in the infield, and the bats coming around in the nick of time, we squeaked out a win against a team that played pretty tough. We're now 5-3 in league play with two games left. Overall, our record is 15-10. Not too shabby.

Enjoy Memorial Day Weekend off, and let's come back strong next week with another much-needed league win and a good run in the Denver Super NIT next weekend.

It was a nice run, Bruins! Top 4 in the 35-team AYL Cinco De Mayo tournament is a very good showing....especially for being short-handed. So, in three tournaments, we were bracket champs in the first and have made it to the semifinals in the other two. There's a couple games we'd like to have back this year, but sitting at 12-7 isn't too shabby. Let's keep getting better! (Thanks for the picture Jen!)

It may not have been the top bracket, but we'll take it! Our team learned how to compete and showed some toughness to win four games Sunday en route to the Bronze Bracket championship. Good job boys!

And a note to our sponsors.....our banner got a ton of compliments all weekend long! Thank you!
