❤️Home sweet Home❤️We have been on the road for nine days, drove 1,600 miles….first stop was Big Bear Rodeo, then we met our family for a few days at the lake, then Banning Stagecoach Days Rodeo and last Marysville Rodeo. Thank you Maximus and Teaspoon for being the best teammates a girl could ask for! We placed at all 3 rodeos, all of which we needed to be closer to making our goal for the WPRA Circuit finals!
The last 5 rodeos of the year have mostly been in Southern California, so it has been a challenge both physically and financially, especially having to pay $8 a gallon for diesel!! I questioned…is it worth it…what if I don’t do well…but I realized that I had to change my mindset and decided to focus on my goals. Everyday, I repeat this…Faith and Fear are exact opposites and cannot exist at the same time. Those who trust will not be disappointed. Talk about POWERFUL self talk!
So many people have helped us along the way! I have so many to thank!! Thank you to Jill Sawyer for taking care of my ponies in Clovis and Debbie Langdon for hosting us in Norco! My husband for keeping things in order at home. This week we have Sonoma rodeo and it’s the last in the 2026 season! Let’s go Maximus🐎💨
