New year, same story - dancing together and challenging ourselves to learn, push, and grow!

Note: A new provider at The Crescent Collective is taking over my beginner bellydance classes. Erin Calandra discovered belly dance in 2002 and quickly developed her own fusion style, blending her classical foundation with hip hop influences to teach, choreograph, and perform for several years. After a nearly 12-year hiatus to raise her children and pursue her bachelors in exercise science and doctorate in physical therapy, she missed dance deeply and is back in the studio, sharing space at The Crescent Collective!

Erin's classes are not part of Bella Luna Bellydance company, so be aware that I am not trying to represent her business as my own, simply sharing the information of a fellow dancer sharing space and collaborating in community!

In 2026 I will focus on intermediate and advanced classes and workshops, as well as continuing to provide performance opportunities for anyone interested!

Made some changes to the schedule to keep the fun going into December, but dropping the Dec 18 date for work reasons! We'll reschedule the Caspian choreography in January, and for now, we'll keep the mixed levels going, so come one, come all! We're having a blast!

Thank you to all who attended our Bellydance Showcase last month! Thanks to our hardworking performers and the support of their friends and family, we were able to donate $200 to The Vera House, which supports anyone in time of crisis due to domestic abuse or neglect.

What started as offering emergency sheltering services for women in crisis, expanded to a wide range of domestic violence services including outreach and advocacy, domestic violence education programming, children's counseling, and a domestic violence education and accountability program for people who cause harm in relationships.
