Since yesterday’s post brought everyone out of the woodwork… 👀😂

We figured this was the perfect time to say thank you to all of our new followers - and remind everyone that LJAL is always looking for volunteers!

Our organization has been serving Livonia’s youth for nearly 70 years, and none of it happens without people in our community who are willing to step up, pitch in, and help keep things moving.

Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

To the kids or adults who thought it was acceptable to ride e-bikes on the baseball fields at Rotary Park, take a look at the damage you left behind on Field 1 today.
This is now the second time the field has been damaged by e-bikes or some kind of motorized scooter.

These fields are not your personal riding area. The ruts and destruction shown in these photos create safety hazards and require additional time and money to repair. Please stay off the baseball diamonds.

Parents please remind your children to show respect for the park, the volunteers who maintain it, and the athletes who use it.
