🥎 RECRUITING TRAIL REPORT 🥎

We spent the weekend in Canton, Michigan and Lansing, Michigan watching some outstanding softball talent. The future of the game is bright, and the Class of 2027 is loaded with athletes who have the ability to play at the next level.

As recruiting continues, I want to encourage players and families to think beyond the uniform and the logo.

Rain has stopped play at Jackson College due to weather.

Game is currently in a delay in the top of the 5th inning with the Ocelots up to bat.

Play will resume Wednesday morning at Marathon Diamond Fields in Findlay, Ohio.

🔥 FINAL: Schoolcraft 8, HFC 3 🔥

The Ocelots put together a complete performance at Mission Fields, using timely hitting and a strong outing in the circle to secure the win 💪

💥 Offensive Leaders
Aryanna Sandusky led the charge with 4 RBIs, going 2-for-3 and delivering in big moments.
Lucy Whelan set the tone at the top, going a perfect 3-for-3 with 2 stolen bases.
Grace Matheson broke things open with a 2-run shot, while also collecting multiple hits.
Mal Traicoff added another multi-hit performance as the lineup racked up 11 total hits.

🔥 Game-Changing Moment
Matheson’s go-ahead homer in the second sparked a big inning, followed by Sandusky’s RBI double to extend the lead.

🥎 In the Circle
Ava Swiatkowski went the distance, throwing a complete game with 6 strikeouts and allowing just 2 earned runs. Tough, steady, and in control all game.

⚡️ On the Bases
Aggressive and smart — the Ocelots swiped 3 bags and kept pressure on all game long.
