Ms. Kayla has a heart for our tiniest dancers and a true gift for making every class feel fun, welcoming, and full of smiles. This year, she’s been stepping into new roles around the academy—working with our older dancers, jumping into as a dancer in our brand new Adult Hip Hop class, and you may even spot her more often at the front desk in the office! 🔥🩰

Unfortunately due to the inclement weather, Debbie Felton’s Academy of Dance will be CLOSED today, Wednesday, December 10th, 2025.

With temperatures expected to drop and more snow on the way, we want to keep all of our dancers, families, and staff safe tonight. 💙

✨❤️ **Adopt-A-Family Holiday Drive** ❤️✨
This season, our dance academy is joining together to support a local family who recently lost their home in a devastating fire. Thanks to our friends at the Doorkeepers for vetting this family—we’re honored to bring them a little comfort, care, and joy during such an unimaginable time.

🎁 **Wishlist Update**

If you’d prefer to give a monetary donation, the family could truly use it—we’d love to bless the dad with something extra this holiday season.

📍 **Gift Drop-Off Reminder**
Please bring all **unwrapped gifts** to the office staff at the studio so our dancer elves can wrap and help prevent duplicates.

**This Saturday, December 13th by NOON!**

💌 **Monetary Donations**
Place your donation in an envelope labeled **“Adopt-A-Family”** and hand it to office staff or drop it in the studio lock box. Our goal is to provide the family with a generous Visa gift card as well.

We know there have been lots of opportunities to give this season, with Do It for Denny gifts and our current Canned Food Drive (Still accepting donations!) and from the bottom of our hearts—thank you, dance family. Your generosity helps this family feel supported, seen, and loved. ❤️✨

Just a reminder - Debbie Felton’s Academy of Dance does not always close with the schools due to inclement weather - please stay tuned for emails and posts on our website and on social media if we close we will let you know! Well it has been a very very busy weekend for D*FAD dancers!! We had some absolute rockstars at the outdoor Livonia holiday parade today! They had an awesome time getting to dance and walk in front of family and friends! True sports to hang tough in the cold and then kill it performing! If you haven’t seen the video go check them out!

Also want to congratulate four of our dancers who dance on the Stevenson Dance Team. They had their first competition today -Varsity Jazz took second place And hip hop took 4th place! JV took 4th place for their Jazz!

Again we want to congratulate our dancers who rehearsed for weeks and performed the past two days in the plymouthcantonballet Nutcracker! We are so incredibly proud of you seven dancers for your extra rehearsals and stage time. Your performance was amazing!!!

What an amazing talented group of dancers we have at D*FAD! You all have made us so proud this weekend!
