I’ve had some questions that I would like to answer for everyone. As of this time, we are located in an area where we are not in much risk with the screw worm outbreak that has happened in west and south Texas. Anything is possible in the future years to come.
In managing our deer and keeping them as happy and healthy as possible we have decided against doe hunting this year. Our reasoning behind this is to hopefully prevent our bucks from fighting over specific does as much during rut. We wish all of our doe hunters a happy season and will likely be able to take a small few out for meat hunts on spikes. If we can not accommodate you this year, we can’t wait to see you again next. For our regulars that end up hunting in the area, feel free to give us a call and maybe we can have lunch in town while you are here. We love hearing about your adventures and seeing your pictures.
With this being said, our entire season will be for buck hunting instead of the first month being primarily doe.
