Jordan Delivers Third-Period Winner as Lock Monsters Edge Stars, 2–1

Alex Jordan scored the deciding goal late in the 3rd period with an assist from Anson Czosek, lifting the Lock Monsters past the Southtown Stars, 2–1, at Leisure Rinks!

Jack Sheehan opened the scoring with helpers from Mark Corrao and Brandyn Johnston. Southtown tied it in the first, and a scoreless second set up the third-period finish.

Nathaniel Hillery stopped 15 of 16 shots and held the Stars scoreless over the final two periods. Five Monsters recorded a point as Lockport wins the tournament bound season opener.

A big second-period response brought the Lock Monsters all the way back, but the Buffalo Red Raiders pulled away in the third for a 7–4 win at Holiday Twin Rinks in the last preseason game.

Jack Sheehan led the Lockport attack with a hat trick, while Noah Kennedy added a goal. Mark Corrao recorded two assists, and Ryan Hillery, Elliott Granville, Jonathan Clark and Benjamin Ewart each collected one. Nathaniel Hillery finished with 29 saves on 36 shots.
