Did you know…🦷
A horse's teeth never stop erupting throughout most of its life. Their teeth gradually wear down from chewing tough grasses and hay, so they continue to emerge from the gums to replace the worn surface. On average, a horse's teeth wear about 2–3 millimeters per year.
This continuous eruption is why regular dental care is so important. Uneven wear can create sharp enamel points that make chewing painful, lead to weight loss, or even cause behavioral issues under saddle.
