We knew Matt Drury loved his Hawaiian rolls… but we had no idea he was about to have his mind completely blown by… PORK RINDS! 🤯🐷

Who knew they were packed with protein and could be used in so many different ways? Watching Matt discover the world beyond Hawaiian rolls might be one of the funniest moments we’ve seen on the 100% Wild Podcast. 😂 Check out the clip and maybe somebody send Matt a bag of pork rinds…just sayin 😉

🎙️ Fairways to Foodplots™️ Podcast Update

We also wanted to thank everyone for your patience. We know it’s been a little quiet lately, but our move into a new podcast studio has taken longer than expected due to some unexpected health issues. The good news is we’re making progress and hope to be back with brand-new episodes in the coming months.

We appreciate everyone who’s stuck with us, and we promise it’ll be worth the wait. We’ve got some great guests and even better conversations coming your way.

🎙️ Fairways to Food Plots Podcast — Episode 3 is Live!

In Episode 3, we sit down with an interesting young man we met along the way — Daniel Gonzalez. Daniel is an attorney in Chicago who also owns DGSP Ranch in Texas, a unique operation that blends both high-fence and low-fence management.

We talk with Daniel about his approach to deer breeding, offering hunts, and how DGSP Ranch differs from the typical high-fence facility. In many ways, they’re just like the rest of us — trying to grow bigger, healthier deer — but their use of science, and their thoughts on genetics and CWD, bring a completely different perspective to the conversation.

Daniel’s background is as impressive as it is unique. With a double major in Chemistry and Molecular Biology and experience in clinical research before earning his law degree, he brings a science-driven mindset to wildlife and herd management that makes for a fascinating discussion.

If you’re interested in deer genetics, breeding programs, herd health, or just enjoy hearing different viewpoints from across the industry, this is a conversation worth your time.

This clip highlights how Cary Tonioli of WildlifeFarming.com thinks about food plot management — and his simple but powerful strategy:

Be better than your neighbors.

Not in a bragging way. In a preparation way.

Better soil tests. Better seed choices. Better timing. Better herd management. Better attention to detail. While others are guessing, he’s planning. While others are reacting, he’s managing.

That mindset is what separates average plots from farms that consistently produce.

This time of year, we’re talking food plots and habitat strategy with folks like you every single day. Are you being intentional with your plan — or just hoping it works out?

Take a listen to this clip and think about how you can level up your ground this season.

Sometimes the best advice is the simplest.
PH jumped on the Deer & Deer Hunting podcast with Brad Rucker to talk Fairways to Food Plots, food plots, turf, and everything in between—and it all comes back to one thing: have fun with it.

Don’t get wrapped around the axle chasing perfection. Learn, experiment, make a few mistakes, and enjoy the process. Whether you’re managing turf, planting food plots, or just trying something new, it’s supposed to be fun.

Give it a listen and remember… if you’re smiling, you’re probably doing it right. 🎙️🌱🦌

Here’s a clip of PH hanging out with Matt Drury and Tim Kjellesvik on the Drury 100% Wild Podcast… and somehow the conversation took a hard turn toward Kings Hawaiian rolls.

Naturally, that got us thinking—who’s out there putting Miracle Whip on theirs? 👀

Food, laughs, hunting stories, and the kind of off-the-rails conversations you only get when good friends sit down behind the mics. This is exactly what Fairways to FoodPlots is all about. Give it a listen and let us know where you stand on the Miracle Whip debate.
