WE DID IT!!!! 🥹🐴❤️🔥
Was it a HOT mess? YES.
Was it fun? ALSO YES.
Did I miss this with every single ounce of my being? YOU BETCHA!!!
But this was so much more than just another ride.
This is what I’ve been working my ass off for for the last THREE YEARS.
Three long years of surgeries, recovery, setbacks, pain, frustration, and wondering if I would ever be able to comfortably ride again. There was a point when simply walking was a challenge… so getting back in the saddle and actually being able to ENJOY riding again without ending every ride in tears from pain?
I don’t even know if I have the words to explain what that means to me.
Horses have always been so much more than a hobby. They are a piece of who I am. And having riding taken away from me—not because I wanted to stop, but because my body physically wouldn’t allow me to do it—was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to accept.
But I refused to give up.
I fought through the surgeries. I fought through recovery. I fought through the days when progress felt nonexistent and the days when I wondered if all of it would ever be worth it.
Today, it was worth it.
So, sorry—NOT SORRY—for the nonstop horse posts. 😂🐴 Something I loved with my entire heart was taken away from me for three years, and getting even a piece of it back has lit a fire in me that I honestly thought I’d lost.
And if you’re fighting your own battle right now—whether it’s physical, mental, personal, or something nobody else can see—please don’t give up on yourself. Progress isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always fast. Sometimes it takes YEARS. But that doesn’t mean your moment isn’t coming.
Mine finally did. ❤️
And now?
WATCH OUT, SUMMER 2027. 🔥
I’m coming for that show ring with a vengeance—bigger goals, a whole lot of determination, and more appreciation for every single ride than I ever thought possible.
And a HUGE shoutout to Sarah Grady for allowing me this ride and, more importantly, for ALWAYS having my back through it all. I hope I can make you proud. ❤️
Three years ago, I was fighting to get back on my feet.
Now I’m fighting to get back in the show ring.
Never. Give. Up. 🐴❤️🔥
