Growth rarely happens inside our comfort zone. It often goes Growth➡️ Emotional stretch➡️Panic➡️Growth.
It could be stepping onto the mat for the first time, testing for a new belt, speaking up in class, or facing a challenge you’ve been avoiding, courage comes before confidence.
Don’t let fear be a stop sign. Recognize it and use it to your advantage.
Breaking isn’t about breaking wood or pavers—it’s about breaking through doubt.
Every break represents a challenge, a fear, or an obstacle that once seemed impossible. Through perseverance, focus, and determination, our students learn that success comes from pushing forward one step at a time and that the sum of a lot of small efforts and wins adds up to something greater.
Thank you to those that came and helped last minute at ! We got a lot done and had some fun in the process!
A Black Belt Candidate is a white belt student that never gave up. The test challenges all aspects of learning both mental and physical. It pushes testing candidates to limits and shows them they can overcome. It demonstrates years of training and acquired knowledge. It is a show of dedication, indomitable spirit, and humility. Congratulations to Mr. Rutland on 1st Dan and Mr. Williamson on his 2nd Dan!!
Learning how to quiet the body in our kicks by holding half full cups of water was a fun learning experience!!
Last year we started a new tradition. Everybody who shows up to support a graduate signs a board then the graduate breaks it signifying they can break through whatever is ahead of them. Congratulations to this years graduates, Dakota Slade and Aaron Williamson!!
Testing candidates have put in the work, now it’s time for the show. Kasyn will be going for his 1st degree and Aaron for his 2nd. Come cheer them on and give them your support as they give it everything they have tomorrow!!
