Back in the day Ben Serotta was making bikes for the 7-11 Tour de France Team and doing some of the best custom bicycles builds in the world. Jeff Keller of Sunrise was asked by Ben Serotta to help with the Serotta fitting system for custom bikes. Jeff developed one of the first sizing cranks and later worked with Purely Custom and their fitting system. By working on this project Jeff figured out that crank arm lengths should decrease and that is what is happening. 160 mm and 165 mm will be hot crank sizes moving forward.
