Part of the is finding creative ways to MOVE in your everyday life. We’ve listed some of our favorite unconventional ways to get moving below!
>Exercise while watching TV (stretch, use hand weights, do sit-ups during every commercial, etc)
>Always stand or walk when talking on your cell phone
>Avoid labor-saving devices. Ex: turn off the self-propel option on your lawn mower!
>Plant and care for a vegetable or flower garden
> Try a new sport or physical skill
Movement does NOT have to just be running or lifting weights. Branch out and try something new… you may just find your new method of movement!
