You may have noticed Corner Ice at 22nd & Meyers isn’t there this season. The last two winters were very mild so we’ve decided to take a pause and just monitor winter temperatures this year. Here’s hoping to colder winter weather in the future!

Corner Ice is a free, supervised outdoor ice rink open to the public @ 22nd & Meyers in Lombard. Check website for hours and come out to enjoy the ice!

Due to the warming temperatures Corner Ice will be closed until the cold weather returns.

Tuesday evening: all of today’s wet snow has melted into the rink. The surface should set up well if the forecasted temperatures drop this weekend. Stay tuned for updates!

Today we installed the liner and started to fill the rink. Forecasted freezing temperatures are on the way. Stay tuned for updates on when Corner Ice will open for season 11.
