Unfortunately Mr. Blackburn chose to remove an outgoing check from our mailbox and forge a duplicate. He attempted to cash the check in Richmond, and then in Lexington where outstanding Community Trust Bank personnel immediately recognized the forged check and contact authorities. Lexington Police Department’s finest responded and arrested Mr. Blackburn. If anyone in Laurel County, especially in the McWhorter Road area, has experienced the same type of incident Mr. Blackburn would be an excellent starting point for the investigation.

Six of our boxers earned their Golden Glove jackets yesterday with an undefeated outing in Ironton, Ohio yesterday in USA Boxing competition. L-R Wyatt Probus, Allen Probus, Isaiah Crossley, Reese Emerson, Jerry Loughran, Samuel Philpot, Nathan Baker, and Luke Baker. They will be returning to school in style this week. Congratulations so our partner gym Sons of Thunder (Somerset) with Reese Emerson emerging victorious as well.
