One of the most dangerous ideas you can teach the next generation is that truth is simply a matter of perspective.
Not every opinion is equally valid. Not every interpretation is equally supported. And not every claim deserves the same weight.
There is a difference between respecting someone’s right to have an opinion and pretending that every opinion is equally true.
Truth doesn’t become subjective because it’s uncomfortable. Facts don’t become negotiable because they challenge our beliefs. And evidence doesn’t lose its value because we don’t like the conclusion.
Teach people to question. Teach them to think critically. Teach them to change their minds when the evidence demands it.
Intellectual humility isn’t believing that everyone is right. It’s standing your ground when you know you’re right and having the courage to admit when you’re wrong.

I’m incredibly proud of myself for using NASCAR as an analogy. That’s probably the most American thing I’ve ever done in my life.

Teacher said to wear green today, so we did. Now we wait for her to tell us to wear red.

The son of a plumber from Castel Maggiore, Italy, now has his name forever engraved in one of the most iconic turns in the history of motorsport.
I couldn’t help but break into tears when I saw that. This is beautiful. I miss you, Alex.
