God's Blessing are MANY ALWAYS - ALL-WAYS

You cannot imagine what is like to see yourself in a photo that changes your life forever. There are no words to thank Mom Marilyn McGill Miller, & Pops for keeping all of mine and Steve Miller accolades and awards. Baseball hats and jersey's, Soccer uniforms, karate belts and certificates. You name if they kept it for us! But to still have the original Sun Herald news paper clipping is just AMAZING! If you take the time to read the second to last paragraph, you can see how the DREAM of a 10 year old boy has come so VERY TRUE! My heart is so full of Gratitude to God, my Parents, My family and friends, My instructors Rodney Fisher, Clinton Jacobs, Sean Smith, Arcino O Stanley, the instructors Senpai, Sherry Lynn Loba, and Coach Vic Rico Rodriguez, and to ALL of the students and families of Full Circle Martial Arts and Yoga LLC . A BULLY HITS YOUR CHILD FIRST...

Do you teach your child to HIT BACK?

This is one of those questions that can divide parents, teachers, AND martial artists.

Some will say:

“Never start a fight — but you have every right to defend yourself.”

Others will say:
“Hitting back only makes the situation worse.”

And others believe a child should get away, find an adult and only physically defend themselves when they have no safe alternative.
So I want to hear YOUR answer.

YES or NO — should kids be taught to hit back if a bully hits them first?

But don’t just write YES or NO…
Tell me WHY.

And keep it respectful. I think this conversation is worth having.

Please help me give a BIG round of applause to the following students for passing their belt testing.

Each one of our students, ages 4 to 104, undergoes a one-on-one exam that includes

Balance, Speed, and Agility Skills
Physical Fitness
Striking & Mitt work
Grappling - Positions and Submissions
Sparring
Pressure Testing - during each evolution of the test- students are attacked and put under high stress to see how they react to the stress and the environment.
Older Students are taught weapons and pressure tested with and without the use of weapons.
