Taught a private group sesh this morning in the park and scrapped my whole planned sequence because I could tell it just wasn't going to work with this crew; they needed something entirely different. That's probably one of my favorite parts of teaching yoga: having a plan but going with the flow and reading my students. It's that magical space between knowledge/training and FEELing/intuition. It makes for a dynamic and very personal experience. No two classes are the same... Ever!

Spinal mobility anywhere anytime. 

I do this at airports. In cars. When I work. 

It is just SO good for our bodies. A nutrient that is so easy to ride into. 

In this mini sequence you see me 

1. Sitting in the chair and “waving” my #spine 
2. Resting over my legs 
3. Standing in front of the chair and waving with my whole body
4. Then just isolating the spine 
5. And finally holding a “cat” and then a “cow” shape 

This gives you a wonderful #lowback stretch as well as segmented #mobility and essential #backstrength + #hamstrings!
