The Bicycle Stand is a small team of dedicated cyclists who just can’t seem to put their bikes away. We also offer full repair and restoration services.

The Bicycle Stand is stocked with beautiful refurbished vintage road bikes, new city and commuter bikes and stylish bike accessories. The Bicycle Stand started three years ago in the living room of Nicole Maltz and Evan Whitener as a passion project for restoring French bicycles from the 1960's and 70's. There was something about the natural beauty and charming details of a classic bicycle that ma

1971 Colnago Super Pista original condition. This beautiful machine almost looks born from nature in its vivid tropical green. Cool features on this early bike include the “snakebite” fork, “medicine spoon” seatstays, and the tied and soldered spokes. Organic and natural, nothing extra. The Bicycle Stand COLNAGO

Ruth stopped by with her Ti and Gold No. 22. These No.22 titanium bikes are a shop favorite with special anodizing options that really stand out from the rest. Made in USA, large volume shaped tubes and Enve components, and Rene Herse 38mm tires raise the bar on a how a metal bike should ride. Believe it or not this is the second gold anodized No.22 we have worked on this year. If you like the best, check out

New Cannondale Flying V coming in hot. Taking inspiration the 90’s hallmark Cannondale reinterpreted the Flying V into an ultralight full carbon e-bike. This bike is 28mph capable with Bosch integrated systems such as lighting and walk assist. The bike has a carbon fenders and rack to make this thing very practical. Amazing bike, happy new bike day John!

Juan’s Bianchi Zolder Pro is bringing in the Summer. The frame colors, that group-set, and those tires are begging for Ojai backroads. Don’t temp us with a good time Juan.

We recently completed a full restoration on this Jack Taylor and we were so impressed with how smooth this bike rides! Immediate comfort and a quiet stable ride with no buzzing or busy-ness. The type of bike it would be easy to spend all day on. A wide range double crankset paired to a 32t rear freewheel gives a 1:1 low gear. Mafac cantis, Rene Herse tires, and modified Campagnolo derailleurs are nod to the past, while TRP levers are the on concession@to modern comfort that was made.

Return to Artifact 38: Dan’s 1972 Colnago Super is the 38th official bike we have painted out of our in house paint shop Artifact Design. The original livery was duplicated and we refreshed the kit a bit. We were glad to work on such an amazing project. Thank you for the trust. Now go out and ride it!

Thank you for trusting us with your latest build. A long standing member of the Long Beach cycling community Randy has kept his riding consistent over the last 10-15 years, which is very hard to do. Happy to see a new whip underneath ya!

latest build. 1974 Schwinn track with some well thought out upgrades. Low spoke count for a bit more aero consisting of Araya Aero rims and Phil Wood hubs. A slightly taller Tacos cause no one’s getting younger. Anno black American Classic post and Campagnolo Record Pista crankset. 👌

We recently completed this Colnago Arabesque for a client and it’s definitely worth sharing. The Arabesque is know for its decorative lugs and crimped tube set, which was further elevated by a completely pantographed Campagnolo groupset. Corima carbon wheels add a bit more Euro flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed building this one.

Titanium bikes are amazing to ride and look at but have quirks all their own. Bottom bracket creaks and seatpost clicks are common complaints even on the highest level equipment. Proper setup materials and careful torque specifications can do wonders to solve these types of issues. We are here for it! This Enigma is absolutely bonkers and we were happy to get rid of those weird titanium noises.
