Day 2 and 3 for Jenn and Buster proved to putting their skills of navigation and driving to the test. With Mother Nature throwing a curve ball of winds and rain into the mix in scenic Nevada and Utah, the challenge of driving the terrain has shown it’s head. Though the results of the scores and tracking show wind or rain, that isn’t stopping these two let alone Hank. They so far have proved their experience by going after the higher caliber points and getting to base camp in time and one piece. Currently they go into day 4 in 21st place out of 45 and there is the whole week ahead to rack up more points.
They are leaving Eureka today and heading south to Route 66 but it’s going to be a long day in the saddle. This will be a 500+ km/300+ mile day so it’s going to be another big test of going after points but being smart with time and fuel.
