LA Thunder Cats merged with the ladies of the Vitasoy Seadogs dragon boat team for the gender races at this year's Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival and took 2nd place in division B. Many thanks to Wila for pairing us up and to the Seadogs coach, Peter, for giving us the opportunity to merge. Congrats team Cats & Dogs!

Shout out to Rosalind Rivas for taking one for the team not once, not twice, but thrice! She paddled on her non preferred side to help balance the boat.

Update on the 2nd annual Zombie Prom fundraiser: We're shooting for Saturday, August 4th (Post-LBDB festival). More details TBD.
Good news ladies!!! With the help of Wila, from Team Panda, I was able to connect with a visiting team and LA Thunder Cats are good to go for the LBDB Festival!!! Yeah!!!! Let's make every practice count and show 'em what we're made of.
