In less than 10 days Adaptive Fusion Dragon Boat Club is headed to the Club Crew World Championships in Taiwan!

Thanks to your support, our Sponsors and the team’s hard work we are helping 10 Paradragons with a good portion of their expense of airfare, hotel and transportation.

A big shoutout to the PacDBA (Pacific Dragon Boat Association) for granting scholarships to our Paradragons as well as!

It takes a village!

14 days to go before racing begins at the 2026 15th IDBF Club Crew World Championships at Liyu Lake, Hualien! Team arrival and training kicks off 29 August, with racing across Premier, Senior, Junior, 24U/University and Paradragon divisions from 1–6 September.

What's topping your crew's checklist with two weeks to go?

Our next race will be a little tough for you to watch in person unless you are planning a trip to Hualien, Taiwan, where Adaptive Fusion is proud to be the only team representing the United States Dragon Boat Federation in the Paradragon Division at the Club Crew World Championships.

But closer to home, you can see us at the beautiful and relaxing Santa Fe Dam on Saturday, October 3rd. Please join us!

Adaptive Fusion on Fire at CanAm Championships in Montreal! A close 2nd in the 200m PD2 Small to Canadian Paracudas. 🌊💪

07/23/2026

This Saturday, July 25, you are invited to watch Adaptive Fusion race at the Long Beach Dragon boat festival being held in Marine Stadium, just down the way from Mothers beach.

The team is just back from a Silver medal win at the Canadian American championships in Montreal Canada.

Come cool off, well, relatively, near the water and relax and enjoy the competition. There will be races, including high school teams, breast, cancer teams, etc.

Adaptive Fusion is registered in the mixed division and our first race is heat number 11 scheduled for 10:30 AM. Parking will be a bit of a walk this time due to construction in preparation for the 2028 Olympics.

Our second heat is not determined at this point, but it should take place between 1:30 and 2 PM . Our final race of the day is scheduled somewhere between four and 4:30 PM. Hopefully one of these times will be convenient for you to stop by and say hello.

Adaptive Fusion would like to thank our sponsors: County supervisor Janice Hahn, The Artesia Cerritos Lions club, Pacific Allergy and Asthma (Dr. Ellyn Ashida), Golf N’ Stuff, The Womens Club of Artesia - Cerritos, the Los Angeles Pink Dragons, the SoCal Gas Company, the Cerritos Artesia Rotary Club and many others who could not be listed here.

We appreciate your support and hope to make you proud!

We actually did a bunch of start drills and race pieces at practice this morning with Lisa Korney steer/coaching! But while the Fusion race crew is crushing it in Montreal, we still nearly filled a boat and cruised to the jelllies 🪼🪼🪼. Mauricio Centeno was a good sport demonstrating his lower spine flexibility with Nea Tatupu's hula warm ups!
