One criticism of Krav Maga has been that many instructors had gaps in their training.

There is truth to that.

But something else is also true.

Many of today’s Krav Maga instructors have been teaching for 20, 30, and even 40 years. They continue to train, cross-train, study, and evolve.

They’ve spent decades learning from boxers, wrestlers, grapplers, kickboxers, MMA fighters, military personnel, law enforcement, and other martial artists.

The result is a generation of instructors bringing more complete training to their students than ever before.

Every class at 360 starts with the same foundation.

Punches. Kicks. Elbows. Knees. Falls.

For instructors, it can feel repetitive.

For students, it’s not.

Most students train 2-3 times per week. What an instructor sees 20 times per week, a student might only see twice.

Kids use this time to develop coordination, balance, and body mechanics.

Adults often use it to rebuild coordination and body mechanics that have been lost over time.

Group classes cannot be run like a fighter’s training session. The goal is to develop the individual in front of us.

Foundation only takes a few minutes, but over months and years it becomes one of the most powerful tools we have to build capable, confident students.

Attack the attacker.

The technique isn’t the goal. The technique simply puts us in a range where the stick becomes less effective and where we can become aggressive.

Once there, the objective is not to survive the attack.

The objective is to finish the fight.

The technique gets you there.Your fighting skills do the rest

It’a a family business …

Krav Maga has great concepts.
What it often lacks is a real training system.

Many instructors learned how to teach techniques — not how to develop beginners into skilled fighters under pressure.

A self-defense system without a scalable training method eventually becomes choreography

Krav Maga can be terrible. And it can also be one of the best self-defense systems in the world.

The difference is HOW it’s trained.

If it becomes static techniques without pressure, timing, resistance, attributes, sparring, or fighting skills… it creates false confidence.

But when Krav Maga is connected to real striking, grappling, pressure, timing, decision making, and adaptability — it becomes incredibly effective.

The problem is rarely the idea. The problem is the training method.

After 11 years, today we had to say goodbye to Nick.
He’s officially heading to Greece to enjoy his early retirement.

Nick and George have been training partners and close friends since the very beginning, and over the years Nick became a big part of the 360 family and community.

We’re grateful for all the years of training, friendship, laughs, and memories on the mats.
Wishing you an amazing next chapter in Greece, brother. You’ll always have a home at 360. 🇬🇷❤️

K and M — 2 minute round.

These helmets don’t hide anything.
You hear the shots. You feel the shots.
Your hands better be closed correctly… or you’ll know immediately.

Pressure exposes reality

At 360, training evolves through stages:
Learn → Drill → Spar → Fight
