Tournaments are always a learning experience. You can skin a grape sideways with a toothpick but when the sun comes up it's still a weekday.

Re-uped on Reyes Swim Baits just in time to do work at tomorrow's SWBA tournament out of the LBC.

Usually Steven Gardea has 1000 words although yesterday we had 1 fish to turn in. We weren't alone though. Ended up 22nd out of 42. We'll take the points.

2016 Border Town Brawl del sur. We got the band back together

What a grind. Started the day out getting whacked by some micros and got our first keeper around 9 AM. Threw the kitchen sink at em but we only ended up with 2 that fit the bill. At least we found a couple new areas and had a special appearance of a giant halibut that chased a bait to the boat. The thing looked like a baby seal for a slight moment. Next time we fishin we'll be in Mission.

We had an hour window to put some things together yesterday at La Isla ... hard bait bassin' with a side of yellowtail.
