The state of Dutch Kills hockey rink is an embarrassment. Where there used to games and play, there are cracks, dog f***s, and garbage. Join us on this page to learn more about to get involved, updates on the rink, and the game of street and ball hockey in LIC and Western Queens.
Welcome to Friends Of Dutch Kills Hockey Rink.
Friends of Dutch Kills Hockey is a group of local Astoria and LIC residents who demand investment in repairing the rink at Dutch Kills playground in Long Island City. Our community has been sorely missing a great, safe space to play hockey in our park. The rink is a major need of repairs. We ask NYC, our elected officials and NYC Parks Dept. to for youth and adults to safely play the game we love.
