The New York Islanders, NHL,NHLPA and LIC-ICE have teamed up to bring a new Learn to Play initiative to New York. The Future Islanders Program provides boys and girls ages 5-15 with an introduction to the great game of hockey, and serves as a transition program for first-time players interested in playing in a house league.The Future Islanders Program includes on-ice training sessions with head to toe brand new hockey equipment included led by New York Islanders Alumni, Arron Asham and Radek Martinek.
