Comment READY and I’ll send you the details on my 2+2 Method — how I combine 2 Pilates + 2 strength workouts each week for better workouts AND better results. 💪🔥
Pilates doesn’t just make you better at Pilates.
It WILL make you better at strength training, too.
Even with something as basic as a plank push-up.
In the first variation, my deep core isn’t engaged, which means my pelvis is unstable and I’m dumping into my low back. You can see my hips shifting and my body lacking control.
Now watch what happens when I find that perfect plank form:
✨ Deep core turns on
✨ Glutes engage
✨ Pelvis stays stable
✨ Hips stay controlled
✨ My entire body moves as ONE strong unit
THAT is the difference core stability makes.
Pilates teaches you how to connect to your deep core and actually CONTROL your pelvis — and you can carry that awareness straight into exercises like push-ups, planks, squats, RDLs and more.
Because strength isn’t just about moving weight or banging out reps.
It’s about being able to actually utilize your muscles while you do it to get better results!
Pilates + strength can coexist. In fact, they make each other better. 👏
