As we head into we are carrying some nice momentum.

This past weekend raced the Dirty Sheets Gravel Grinder taking the win, but more impressively went pull for pull with leaders of the men’s race. She covered all the attacks and finished second to a flying James Toori in a 2up sprint for the win! Lauren is on form ready to improve on her 5th place finish at Big Sugar last year.

Meanwhile, just North in Vermont took the win in the epic event. This was a two day race combining a gnarly East Coast hard core gravel race with a gnarly East Coast gnarly hard core MTB race. Paige has been training hard and is preparing for a shot at the 12 hour TT championships in November.

Awesome riding guys!

Beautiful ex*****on for today winning her second and taking the 6th stop of the (her first LTGP victory!)

Lauren hit with perfection each of the race strategy targets that the team created for her to follow in the Race Open, Race Flow, and Race Close.

The targets were to make the selection by positioning at the front in the Race Open. When she made the selection of four I’m the lead group to not work much in the Race Flow and focus on eating and drinking. Then her Race Close started early as the big climb was just over halfway. She executed the Knockout Play, which is a combination of different length surges to gap Alexis. Then, also in the race close, she rode her Medium Zone (2 mmol of lactate) solo all the way to the to the finish. Every short climb she would do Low Threshold and then back to Medium.

Lauren also crushed her nutrition strategy eating one .second get every 20 mins for the 6 hour race.

Lauren’s teammates rode awesome as well with riding to a super strong and LTGP PR of 13th and .wre rode strongly while fighting off illness to a respectable 22nd.

Congratulations to who ran the show this weekend and came away with her first win! She is such an incredible coach and person, we are all blessed to have her part of our CINCH family.

getting the winning 📸 as well!

Grit.

took a heavy high speed crash yesterday during the which sent her to the ER in an ambulance instead of crossing the finish line.

We are grateful Holly is “ok” and “just” required lots of stitches.

But this image shows the strength Holly possesses, the effort she puts in, and the grit mentally she has to push through the tough times.

Holly has had a rough month to say the least. Despite everything she keeps showing up for the people who rely on her and to challenges that make her better like this race. Holly is a hero to us all.

also showed lots of grit fighting to stay with the lead pack most of the race to finish a strong 10th overall. The high speeds and aggressive racing were far outside of her comfort zone, but she used her fitness and mental strength to finish well.

Please send Holly some strength as she’s got some rough days ahead during her recovery. But we know she’s going to use this adversity to become stronger and help others who go through similar tough times ahead.

For now lots of !!!

Our women’s pro team came into the Gravel National Championships ready to fully capitalize on the opportunity to truly have their own women’s race.

The race strategy was to send off the front early to put pressure on the favorites to chase with able to sit on. We picked as the key rider to follow for LDC and .wre . They were to keep their eyes on her and stay in the wheels saving energy during the race.

Tori executed perfectly was able to break free after Caroline, and Lauren all took turns attacking. She built her lead up to almost 5 minutes by mile 40. Lauren Stephens rode smartly waiting for a technical sand section to make her move to break free from the peloton and go after Tori in a group of 4. Caroline had a bad crash in the sand trying to following Lauren Stephens's attack and had to abandon with an injury to her calf. In the same technical section LDC was distanced and found herself alone to chase solo back into 5th. LDC spent nearly 70 miles alone in the wind chasing after the leading 4. Shortly after mile 40 Tori struggled with the sand sections and crashed hard out of the lead and out of the race breaking her shifter.

In the final 30 miles LDC poured on the pressure and closed in the end catching 4th and got within a minute of 3rd at the line, finishing 4th on the day.

While we played the game to try and win the race we were unable to and that’s ok. Fourth was the best possible result for us and the team did a great job racing selflessly putting it all out there to give LDC her best shot at the win.

Overall, having the separate women’s race gave our young team a key opportunity to practice racing together as a team and give each rider an opportunity to contribute to the overall outcome of the race. We hope more events do the same and adopt a similar format.

Congratulations Lauren Stephens on a racing masterclass and there is no better rider to where the Stars and Stripes jersey this coming season than her.

A big shout out goes to taking the 19-34 title and you can bet she will be racing pro next season!

This year’s delivered lots of adversity and testing moments for us as a team.

But we are not defined by our results, rather with the action that we take from them.

Two time winner and defending champion was dealt with a tough blow finding herself outside of the top ten and many groups back after the first hour of racing. She was able to mount a strong chase and regain the fight for the overall in the second hour of racing and join the second group of women on the “road.” Unfortunately she hit a large rock while grabbing her water bottle and slashed her tire. This put her more than 20 minutes back and ending her shot at victory. She didn’t give up and when she finally got her tube in and riding she put a winning chase to come in 7th at the line, moving from 30th to 7th in the second half of the race! Wow.

Just behind her .wre rode her best SBT positioning well in the start and then pacing her effort staying in her zones to finish a fantastic 15th in an insane field.

rode awesome as she is still finding her peloton and descending comfort finishing an excellent 22nd while rocked it from sea level finishing strongly in 33rd.

put together another excellent race returning from illness to finish 72nd in a world class field!!!

Congratulations team and let’s learn, reset, regroup, and get ready to rock Nationals in three weeks!

Progress over perfection, ALL IN!

Leadville, it’s time to DIG DEEP!

We are so pumped to be taking the start tomorrow for the Leadville 100.

For our riders and , just getting to the start has been our big win. The amount of work and preparation these two women have done to simple be able to “race” on this course is incredible.

So many fears have been faced. So many new skills and abilities have been created. So much new equipment has been trained to us. Most of all, so many failures and shortcomings have been experienced during this journey.

If you have been following along, it has been a massive learning curve.

But what has been our focus all along was to become .1% better each ride. Tomorrow we are going to do just that.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow and especially our badass CINCH crew tomorrow of , , , , and .

Part of our prep is the Leadville stage race. A three day event that does the 100 mile course broken into three parts.

During the race Lauren will be able to see the course as well as practice mountain bike racing.

Lauren did a great job today getting through the course well with much of it only seeing for the first time.

She finished second to a flying who finished 5th overall in the men!

Tomorrow Lauren will face the epic Columbine Climb in the second stage.

The stop #3 went very well for the team.

We had a few different missions which the riders executed very well.

The obvious story was putting a great race together from start to finish for a stellar 2nd place. She raced her strategy very well, pacing herself right in her zones and finishing strong. Lauren has really come up to a new level this past month and working on her race craft. Our team is very focused on developing Lauren’s long term potential. She is just getting started.

Rookie put together a fantastic result finishing 23rd in an absolutely start studded field. She also paced herself well not over extending herself in the start and moving up in the finish. Tori has been learning fast how to ride on the gravel, maneuver through the peloton, and race these longer durations. She has been doing a great job.

wre and made the race exciting from the start attacking at kilometer zero. This enabled them to build a cushion before the heavy climbing and then ride their zones. This move also was to work on race craft, setting the race up for your way of riding it, not just following the strongest riders. Both had super strong riders finishing 28th and 32nd respectively!

Lil C and Holly came into the race concerned with the extreme high altitude and climber and both slayed their demons out on course!

Our team has purposely taken a slow start to the season to now focus on a very strong second half. Lauren and co have only 6 race days at this stage of the game. It’s time to take it up a level!
