There’s always a way to make progress.

My workouts haven’t been what I wanted them to be lately but that has allowed me to work on other things I needed.

Don’t worry if things aren’t perfect but always find a way to improve

Feels good to be back to using some good weight again.

Happy to be back to having three plates for squats and RDLs

Here’s a secret: if you’re stuck at your current fitness level or body composition without making progress for a while then something in your routine needs to change.

Volume, time under tension, time between sets, weekly frequency for each muscle trained, weight, and form are all ways you can change your weekly workout schedule.

Consistency is the key to progress but consistently doing the same exact workout won’t keep getting you new results.

Since I’m currently struggling to have the time for the weekly frequency I normally prefer, I’ve increased the volume.

Here’s my 6th set of these. Your body is amazing at adapting to what you do with it so. You have to make small changes every few weeks or so to keep your body from hitting those plateaus.

You shouldn’t rely on cardio for fat loss

Prioritize caloric deficit with high protein, and continue lifting weights

Cardio shouldn’t be skipped but also shouldn’t be your only your focus while you’re trying to lose fat

Trap bars or straight barbells? Which do you prefer?

Slowly including more cardio into my workouts. It’s definitely the hardest thing for me to be consistent with. But it’s important to work on weaknesses. Small but consistent progress leads to big improvements over time!

Heavy work on shoulders greatly improves bench press

I’m happy with how the weights have felt this week now that I’m getting back into heavier movements again
