These guys got us in and out right before the start of The Great Texas Balloon Race and made sure our crew had a place to go to get relief from that blistering heat and humidity after a hard mornings chase. We can’t thank them enough for getting it done under the wire and just in time

The Great Texas Balloon Race 2026 is over and the results are in. We fought hard, and we finished in 7th place! Freedom Hot Air Balloon Team’s highest finish at the race to date. Thank you to all those who came out and helped. We can’t wait for next year to celebrate the races 50th anniversary!

What a GREAT morning for day 2 of The Great Texas Balloon Race. We’re about to head out and get ready to put on another show tonight for the glow. Hope to see everyone out there! We’re currently sitting in 7th place overall rolling into the last day of competition!

Started the morning off by knocking out another flight review, all set for another 2 years thanks to Bill Baker! Then scooted over to New Beginnings to do a static inflation for the youth ministries Rise Up Series! A very beautiful and productive morning for the Freedom Hot Air Balloon Team!

Freedom Hot Air Balloon Team will be seeing yall again this year for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta!! Let’s see if we can NOT get banner 16 for the 3rd year in a row….
