A couple of our crews got pretty festive to celebrate the 4th of July this weekend.

We’re getting into the thick of things here in our association. High school baseball and softball seasons will be wrapping up in about a month. Youth and Babe Ruth ball have just begun. We’re continuously looking for new umpires. Reach out for more information.

Baseball/Softball season is officially underway, this last weekend our association was able to meet with and learn some tips and techniques from former MLB Umpire Kyle McCrady.

Spring is coming and we need more umpires...men and women! If you think umpiring is a man’s job, you’re mistaken. Female umpires are hitting the fields, including within our own association...for softball and baseball. Consider joining LCUA...meetings and training start in February.

In a little over two months we will be stepping out on the diamonds for start of the 2024 high school baseball/softball seasons.

Do you love baseball/softball and wish you could learn what it takes to make the tough call? Do you think have what it takes to be an umpire? It all starts at the high school and youth levels and working your way through the ranks.

LCUA is a well-respected umpiring association. Being an umpire allows you to give back, keeps you active, involved in sports and you get paid. As mentioned above, we are about two months away which means we will start getting ready with training sessions before that. Classroom and on-field training provided.
